I just had my upper dentures put in and the teeth are a lot smaller than my normal teeth were. I went back and explained this to be told that that's the size I'm getting even though that are half the size and all gum, no teeth, not happy.

There are many different sizes of denture teeth. Normally they do what's called a "wax try in", which is a final try in so the patient can see what it looks like before it is processed/finished. That way changes can be made to avoid this type of issue. The denture needs to be redone in order to fix it at this stage.
