Plate with 4 front dentures as my gums would no longer hold these crowns. My other front crown is longer than denture beside it. Can this crown be filed bit shorter. It is a top plate but very loose I hate it. The feeling of plate in mouth but feel really bad about appearance but suppose not much I can do other than remove crown and get other denture. Crown is good only for length.

The crown should be able to be filed to be a bit shorter, or the denture teeth typically can be reset to the proper length/appearance. It does take some getting used to having a denture in your mouth, but there are other ways to design it to minimize the amount that covers the roof of your mouth. Maybe try discussing other options with your dentist? Or possibly placing implants to help support the denture?
