i had a root canal done about 10 yrs ago then had it crowned. the crown started to loosen up and bacteria got underneath it and caused infection....now the dentist is saying it has to come out, is it going to hurt coming out any less due to having a rooth canal?
Unfortunately extracting a tooth that has had a root canal will not make it hurt any less. The root canal removes the nerve inside the tooth, but extracting the tooth deals with the bone and tissues around the tooth. -ODD
